Othell Mantooth Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 28, 2007. He was born June 22, 1945.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nancy Leona Mantooth, and brother, Terry Mantooth.
He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his beloved children, sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Joyce Mantooth, of Sevierville, and Michael and Sheila Mantooth; daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Harlon Barnes and Melissa and Thomas Ramsey, all of Newport; his best and special friend and mother of his children, Ima Jean Mantooth; his beloved grandchildren, Megan Barnes, Jordan Mantooth, Brittany Mantooth, Matthew Barnes, and Emily Mantooth; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lynn and Wanda Mantooth, Joe and Starr Mantooth; brother, Gary Mantooth; sister and brother-in-law, Cathy and Terry Jarnigan; sister-in-law, Brenda Mantooth; aunts, Gladys Webb and Ella Mantooth Dunn; several nieces and nephews and many friends and cousins; his special friend and pastor, the Rev. Annette Dotson, and his church family and friends at Word Church, Cosby; and long time friend and prayer warrior, Anna Hudson.
The family received friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be Friday, August 31, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Ball and the Rev. Troy Duncan officiating.
