A member of the Baptist faith and a veteran of the United States Army. Preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Whitlock Houser. Survived by daughters, Kathy Love, and Rhonda Hay and husband Paul; grandchildren, Mandy and Willie Scarbrough, Tiffiney Mozingo and husband Carl, Shar-Rah Smith and husband Michael; great-grandchildren, Chasity Solomon, Saven Clemons, Isaac Scarbough, Keaten Jones, Carly Mozingo, Landon Smith, and Owen Smith; sisters, Mildred Flanningan, Mary Holsenback, and Lucille Huff; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Doctors and Nurses and Blount Memorial Hospital. Visitation 6-8 pm Tuesday at Weaver Funeral home with service to follow at 8 pm. with Rev. Johnny Kear officiating. Family and friends will meet 12:45 pm CST Wednesday at Charles Creek Cemetery in McMinnville Tn . for a 1 pm graveside service.
