Maples, Wanda Ruth Oakley Stiles age 74 of Knoxville passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at home. She was a member of Mount Avenue Church of God where she taught Sunday School and was Church Clerk. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Harold Stiles. Survivors include husband, Claude Maples; sons, Harold Stiles Jr. (Amy), Terry Stiles (Cheryl), Joe Stiles (Darlene), Rev. Gary Stiles (Tamara), Tony Stiles; daughter, Sharon Fine (Stewart); step children, Claude Maples Jr., Wayne Maples (Judy), Steve Maples (Joy), Rick Maples (Terri), Emily Smith (David), Maxine Martin, Linda Aaron (Steve); grandchildren, Kevin, Heather (Clint), Sarah (Wes), Renee, Adam (Jamie), Isaac (Amber), Jake (Kayla), Marlie, Jessica, Gary Jr., John, Dylan, Paul and Meghan; great grandchildren, Dean, Will, Carlie and Gabriel; 10 step grandchildren; 10 step great grandchildren; foster mother to many other children; sisters, Mildred Stinnett, Geneva Karras, Sarah Burns (Floyd); brothers, James Oakley (Virginia) and Roy Oakley (Jane); brother in law and sisters in law, Icelona Johnson (WL) and Jean Stiles. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Stiles and Rev. James Mount Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 A.M. Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home and proceed to Pollard Cemetery for the interment at 11:00 A.M. Sons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M.
