Rodney Howard Burchfield, age 42, of Friendsville, died Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Blount Memorial Hospital. Rodney enjoyed music and karaoke, as well as painting old classic cars. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Taylor Burchfield, John W. and Ellen Kidd. Survivors include his daughter, Lori Miller of Walland; father, William and Donna Burchfield of Friendsville; mother, Janice Kidd Teffeteller; grandmother, Mamie Burchfield of Walland; sister and brother-in-law, Mandy Burchfield and Jerry Rauhuff of Friendsville; brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Becky Teffeteller of Walland; many aunts, uncles, and friends, and special friends from Alnwick and Dog Patch Karaoke. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, May 22, 2011, in the Dotson Wildwood Chapel with the Rev. Robert Jennings officiating. Interment will be 10 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2011, at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at Dotson Funeral Home.
