William Howard Burchfield, 66, of Friendsville, passed away Sunday May 27, 2012, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, Taylor Burchfield; son, Rodney Burchfield; and sister, Marilyn Knuchols. He was a carpenter and drove a school bus for Blount County for many years. Survivors include his wife, Donna Jackson Burchfield; daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Jerry Rauhuff; grandchildren, Lori Miller, and Jeremiah Rauhuff; mother, Mayme Burchfield; sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldeen Davis, Wanda and Donnie Jennings; brother, Michael Burchfield and Janice; many nieces, and nephews; and many special friends from Alnwick, and The Dawg Patch Karaoke. Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Jennings officiating. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2012, to proceed to Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a 10 a.m. graveside and interment service.
