James Clark Barrett of Boise, Idaho, passed away April 2, 2010 after a short illness.
He was born in Del Rio, TN on August 11, 1941 to James Carson and Mary Opal Clark Barrett.
The family moved to Waynesville, NC in 1950. He graduated from Waynesville Township High School and Brevard College.
He lived in Torrance, CA and Seattle, WA prior to retiring to Boise. He owned and operated UniCraft Printing in Bellevue, WA.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed all sports, especially mountain hiking and fishing.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
He is survived by his wife Paquita and son Michael Barrett of Boise; daughters Renee (Danny) Calvert of Gastonia, NC; Debara (Tim) Ferleman of Bellevue; Paquita Fagen of Marysville, WA; and Stacey Sanford of Bellevue; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and sister Marie (Clifton) Metcalf of Lake Junaluska, NC.
Also surviving are uncles and aunts and several cousins of Cocke County.
A visitation, followed by a traditional vigil, was held at Summers Funeral Home in Boise on April 6. A funeral service was held April 7 at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church with burial in Morris Hill Cemetery in Boise.
