Lena Mae Hearon, age 90 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her family. Our beloved mother was a devoted wife, loving mother, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Arvel Alvin Hearon; parents, James Avery and Martha Parelee Franklin; sons, James Earl Hearon, Billy Wayne Hearon, Arvel Junior Hearon; daughter, Sandra Darlene Whitehead; several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sister, Sudie Jones of Maryville; daughters, Irene Rauhuff, Martha Stott, Shirley and husband Gene Wilburn, Charlene and husband Bill Evans all of Maryville; daughter, Joyce and husband Brickey Tipton of Walland; sons, Alvin and wife Liz Hearon, Woodrow Hearon, Marvin Hearon, and Norman Hearon all of Ootlewah, TN, Clifford and wife Peggy Hearon of Dayton, TN, Marcus and Curtis Hearon of Maryville; beloved granddaughter and caregiver, Melissa Morgan of Maryville; 20 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Blount Memorial Home Health to all the nurses and caregivers. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held 7:00 PM Tuesday March 27, 2012 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Rev. Bill Dixon and Rev. Clifton Hearon officiating.
