PROVINCE, CALVIN V., SR. - age 73 of Strawberry Plains, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2002 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Holston Memorial Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers. Survivors include his wife, Wanda five sons, Calvin , Jr., Jerry and Ronnie Province all of Strawberry Plains, Tenn., Howard and Lester Province of Chatsworth, Ga. two daughters, Robin Hughes of Halls, Neta Province of Strawberry Plains 5 grandchildren brothers, Robert Ray Province, Jr. and wife, Dorothy, Charles Province and wife, Shirley, Roy Province and wife, Pat, David Province and wife, Mary sisters, Mary and husband, Richard Emory, Wanda and husband, Bud Forrester and several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, December 9. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at McCarty's Chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Rev. Al Smith and Rev. Arthur Pedigo will be officiating. Arrangements by McCarty Mortuary, 4004 Holston Dr., Knoxville.
