He was a member of North Lonsdale Church of God and a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a very loving son and was preceded in death by grandparents: James Thomas Burnett & Carrie Whitman Burnett; Clayton Sharp & Lucy Majors Sharp; sisters: Faye, Jean, & Roberta; uncle: Billy Frank Burnett. Survived by parents: Raymond & Doris Sharp; sister: Patty & Donnie Burrage; niece Amy Elizabeth White; nephew: Joshua Leigh Burrage; great niece: Olivia Grace White; uncle: Robert & Barbara Sharp. Funeral service 7:00 P.M. Thursday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev Frank Sellers officiating. Family and friends will meet at the main entrance to Highland Memorial Cemetery 12:45 P.M. Friday for interment service at 1:00 P.M. with Full Military Honors by Volunteer State Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
