MOORE, STEVEN RALPH age 60, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Mr. Moore was a member of Alice Bell Baptist Church. Being a veteran of the United States Army, he was a retired employee of Southern Railroad following many years of service. Preceded in death by his father, Ralph A. Moore. He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Moore of Knoxville; sister, Karen Philpot of Knoxville; nieces and nephews, Lance Fuson and Kristin Carris; 5 great nieces and great nephews; and a great aunt, Clara Moore. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Reverend Mike Lee and Reverend Toby Everett officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the main entrance to Greenwood Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. interment service.
