He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charlie and Inez Grigsby and Mike and Viola Jones. He is survived by his mother, Burdell Mitchell; father, Billy Gene Jones; step-son Logan Massey; brothers, Billy Ray Jones, Charlie Jones, Joe Jones, Johnny Mitchell, Roger Mitchell, Willie Mitchell and Beattie Mitchell; sisters, Pam McAmis, Ester Lundy and Chrystal Cavett; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
