Elder Lee Anderson Clabo, age 89 of Sevierville went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday December 29, 2017 surrounded by his family.
He was a member of Beech Grove Primitive Baptist Church, and came from a long line of Primitive Baptist Elders including his grandfather, William Clabo, father, Walter Clabo, son Douglas Clabo and uncle, Arlie Clabo.
Lee loved the Smoky Mountains, yardwork, gardening and had a wood shop. He built over 14 grandfather clocks each stained differently with unique designs that took months to complete.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ethel Clabo, sister, Lula Clabo and husband Jack Clabo, sister, Grace Henry.
Lee is survived by his wife of 67 years; Iva Lee Franklin Clabo, sons and daughters-in-law; Steve and Jettie Clabo, Doug and Bonita Clabo, daughter and son-in-law; Rita and Gary Ellison. Grandchildren; Megan May and husband Jeremy, Meredith Honey, Mark Clabo and wife Brittany, Hannah Clabo, Kim Hicks and husband Travis, Scott Ward and wife Candy, Great Grandchildren; Ava and Isabella May, Luke Honey, Ansley, Emory, and Anderson Clabo, Dillon, Alexis, and Faith Hicks, Mason and Madison Ward, brother-in-law; Ray Henry, and several nieces and nephews
Special thanks to his loving neighbors in Beal Wood subdivision for their support and the UT hospice staff for all their loving care and support.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Middle Creek Cemetery Fund, 1830 Middle Creek Rd, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863.
The family will receive friends from 1-4PM Sunday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. Family and friends will meet 12PM Monday at Middle Creek Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Brother Douglas Clabo officiating. Online condolences may be made to www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
