DOOLEY , HENRY, age 77 of Ailey Rd., Dandridge passed away Monday afternoon, July 17, 2000 at Mariner Health Care Center of Newport. Dooley was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Nina Baptist Church, veteran of the U.S. Army 13th Armored Division and World War II and was serving in Europe when the war ended. Retired employee of the Blalock Construction Co. and was a farmer. Preceded in death by mother, Lucy Williams, foster parents, Charlie and Cynthia Henry, brother, Junior Williams. Survivors: Wife of 53 years, Margaret Walker Henry of Dandridge; Son & Daughter-in-law: David and Vicky Henry of Dandridge; Grandchildren: Matthew and Candice Henry; Step Granddaughters: Carolyn Johnson, Merrie Jones and Rebecca Jones; Step Great Granddaughter: Julie; Sisters: Hazel, Elizabeth, and Wanda; Brother: Marion "Mutt" Williams; Several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Wednesday, 8:00 PM at Farrar Dandridge Chapel with Dr. Sonny Strange officiating. Graveside military honors, Thursday, 10:00 AM at Hills Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Farrar Funeral Home, Dandridge.
