ELLIOTT , OLLIE NAOMI HUMPHREY age 84 passed away January 23, 2010 at her residence. She was born December 6, 1925. She professed faith in Christ at an early age. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her parents, Moss and Rittie Humphrey ; husband, Richard E. Elliott Sr.; brother, Dorsie Humphrey ; sisters, Alene Humphrey , Pauline Irick and Dixie Ridenour. Survived by daughters, Linda and husband Junior Prewitt of Kentucky, Charlotte Evans of Oak Ridge, TN; sons, Richard and wife Tammy Elliott of Powell, TN, Garry and wife Anita Elliott of Strawberry Plains, TN, Michael and wife Missy Elliott of Heiskell, TN, Jeffrey and wife Shelia Elliott of Blaine, TN; nine grandchildren, David Prewitt, Pam Rhea, Kassie and Matthew Elliott , Amanda and Brent Elliott , Kevin Elliott , Jeremiah and Joshua Elliott ; four great grandchildren, Olivia and Patrick Rhea, B.J. and Noah Elliott ; brothers, Samuel and wife Ruth Humphrey of Heiskell, TN, Calvin and wife Wilma Humphrey of Heiskell, TN; sisters, Eleanor Enlow of Heiskell, TN, Virginia Sharp of Halls, TN, Mary Kate and husband Harry Ballard of Knoxville, TN, Annette and husband Kuble Anderson of Moncks Corner, SC and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Minnie Moody, Dorothy Cooper and Charlie Yarnell. She wanted to thank Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center for taking care of her many times. Also thank you to her physician, Dr. James Rivers and his wonderful nurse Debbie Greer who were very supportive throughout her illness. A special thank you for her care giver, Judy Key. Thanks for her wonderful family for always being there for her. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, January 25, 2010 with the funeral service following at 8:00 PM with the Rev. Charlie Tindell and Rev. Steve Foster officiating in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 3:30 PM Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Andersonville, TN. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of arrangements.
