Cyble "Louise" Raley Ridenour, 64, of Heiskell, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, with loved ones at her side after a brief battle with cancer.
Louise was a loved and respected member of the Hickory Valley community and Zion Hill Baptist Church. Her lifetime career was providing loving child-care out of her home.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James R. Ridenour, her parents, Curtis Raley and Cyble Mills Raley, a brother, Charles Raley, and a grandson, Joseph "Joey" Hatmaker.
Mrs. Ridenour is survived by her son, Tony Ridenour and wife, Cheri, of Heiskell; her daughters, Patricia Curchy and husband, Jon, of Clinton, and Sandra Duncan and husband, Carl, of Oak Ridge; her grandchildren, Andrew Baker and wife, Lucinda, of Clinton, Kayla Baker, Chris Ridenour, Beth Ridenour, and James Preston Duncan; as well as step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by her sister, Betty Casey of Norris, and her brother, Walter Raley of Deer Lodge. She leaves behind many loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, mother-in-law, Dixie Ridenour; and by several nieces, nephews and close cousins.
Special thanks to Tammy Wilson for her hospice nursing care and the Covenant Hospice staff.
The funeral will be at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the Rev. Joe McCoy and the Rev. Gary Jenkins officiating.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at Humphrey Cemetery in Heiskell.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that any memorials be in the form of donations to Covenant Home Hospice, Fort Sanders Foundation, 1901 W. Clinch Ave., Knoxville, TN 37916-9986.
