Leslie Hughes Ridenour, of Prineville, died Saturday. He was 93.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. today at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Missionary Baptist Church in Prineville, followed by a graveside service. Jean Larson and Jeannie Wright will officiate.
Mr. Ridenour was born Aug. 12, 1913, in Mountainburg, Ark., to John and Almeda (Poor) Ridenour. He married Violet Eaton on Nov. 4, 1936, in Van Buren, Ark.
Mr. Ridenour retired from Hudspeth Pine in 1978. He was also a part-time farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include four sons, Melvin and Donald, both of Prineville, Bill, of Elma, Wash., and John, of Lockesburg, Ark.; a daughter, Louise Koehn, of Prineville; a sister, Thelma Johnson, of Odessa, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, four brothers and a sister.
