Michelle Ramsey, age 46, of Cosby, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016,at her home. She was a member of Graver’s’ Chapel Church, Cosby. TN. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Shults; grandfather Claude Shults; grandmother, Belvia and Dewey Valentine; special uncle, David Ramsey; father-in-law, Don Ramsey. She is survived by her husband, J. C. Ramsey; mother, Shirley Shults; grandmother, Charity Shults; uncles, Earl Hunt, Jerry Hunt, and Dallas Shults; aunt, Diane Butler; God’s Angels and helpers who cared for her during her illness, Brenda Russell, Dorothy Hunt, Sue Sauls, Edith Hunt and Teresa Norris; special cousins, Brittany and Breanna Barnes, special friends Julia Coggins and “Maw” Arlene Valentine; and her special pets, Sassy Bell and Bubby. The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Charlie Grooms, with Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, August 18, 2016 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gary Henderson officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm – 7:0 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services. Burial will be held at held at 10:00 am, Friday, August 19, 2016 I the Sutton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Norris, Eddie Surber, Jim Norris, Bryon Norris and Bruce Baxter; honorary pallbearers will be Keith Norris and Jamison Hunt; flower girls, Carolyn Surber, Kinsley Grimes, Brenda, Sue, Edith and Teresa.
