She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph (J.W.) Suggs; sons, Charles Ray Suggs and Donald Eugene Suggs; grandson, Donald Suggs; parents, Issac Alexander and Maggie Mantooth Maloy; brothers, Ike, Brooks, Frank, and Homer Maloy; sister, Myrtle Maloy Brooks, and daughter-in-law, Leta Suggs. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, John (J.A.) and Ellen Suggs, of Newport, Oliver (O.L) and Annette Suggs, of Newport, Bill and Betty Suggs, of Newport, and Frank and Dottie Suggs, of Parrottsville; daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Phillip Hawk, of Parrottsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jim and Pearl Maloy, John and Ruth Maloy, all of Newport; grandchildren, Tamera Seehorn, Melissa smith, Mike Suggs, LeAnn Suggs, Marvin Suggs, Pamela Suggs Holt, Tina Sipes, Frank Suggs II, Joey Suggs, and Chad and Kimberly Hawk; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, 2001, at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Suggs officiating, with burial 11 a.m. Monday at Suggs Cemetery.
