A celebration of life for Roy Davis will be February 4, 2012, at Central Pointe Baptist, Rockford, Tenn. He died Friday, Jan. 20. He was retired from UT Communications and Electrical Technician Telephone Services, a member of AVWA, where he loved going to VW shows. He spent a few years restoring a 67 VW. He loved camping and being with family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, Willis Don and EvaLee; niece, Belinda Gay. Survived by brother and wife, Ellis and Brenda; sister and husband, Linda Gay and Tom; nephew and nieces, Ricky and Lena, Gene and Liz, Portland, Trever and Janet, Chad and Kim, Donavan (D.J.) Jordan, Alex, Harper and Jayden, and two little ones that will never know their Uncle Roy. He tried to fight hard for a very long time. Friends and family are invited to come to the Fellowship Hall at the church starting at 3 p.m.
