Martha Jane Little, 85, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, August 25, 2012.
She was a resident of Spencer, TN; however, she spent most of her adult life in Knoxville and later in Chattanooga. She was a native of Newport Tennessee.
She was a wonderful wife and mother. Her laughter was contagious.
She was a player for the Standard-Coosa-Thatcher softball team. She worked in sales before devoting her life to being a full-time mother and homemaker. Martha was a follower of Jesus Christ.
She was the daughter of the late Horace and Sally Cureton of Newport. She was also preceded in death by her sister Laura Edwin Green; twin sister Mary Lee Jackson; brother, Charles Cureton; former husband Calvin Little and daughter Debbie Little.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Mike and Lynn Little; son Scott Little; and three grandchildren Joseph, Joshua and Jessica Little.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with MSGR Al Humbrecht officiating. Visitation was held Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
