MIKELS , BILLIE SUE - age 57, of South Knoxville, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2000 at Baptist Hospital. Mrs. Mikels was an employee of the Knoxville Glove Factory for 40 years, and was the owner of Gap Creek Market. She was a member of Seven Islands Baptist Church. Mrs. Mikels was preceded in death by her father, Archie Warren . She is survived by her loving family, husband, James (Bud) Mikels ; son, DeWayne Mikels ; mother, Verna (Bill) Warren ; sister, Judy Lett; brothers, Paul Warren and Herbert Warren ; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mikels is at Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy., where the family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Roy Berrier officiating. Burial will be in Highland South Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Fred Mikels III, Tom Mikels , Brad Warren , Doug Warren , Michael Flynn, and Danny Maxwell. Arrangements by Highland South Funeral Home, 573-7300.
