She was a lifelong member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, and was retired from The University of Tennessee Extension Service and the Grainger County Board of Education. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Johnny L. Davis. Survivors include her son, A.W. Davis, and grandson, Jason Davis both of Rutledge; and two grandsons, Blake and Brandon Davis. The family will gather at 10:45 A.M. in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery Friday, July 15, 2011 for an 11:00 A.M. graveside service with Rev. Stacey Lawson officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, 5:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M. at Smith-Reagan Funeral Home in Rutledge.
