ANDREW H. - age 83, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2002, at Baptist Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Mr. McCollum was retired from Robert Shaw, after 43 years of service, and sold Nationwide Advertising for 30 years. He was a member of Seymour First Baptist Church, and was a Mason. Mr. McCollum was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie McCollum a brother, James R. Stone, and a sister, Marjorie Sherrod. He is survived by his loving family, daughter, Andrea Wingate and husband, Ricky of Seymour son, Dennis McCollum of Knoxville brother, John A. Stone sister, June Clark grandchildren, Tres Carter and wife, Dayna, Amanda McCollum, Eric Perkins, Robin Wingate, Keaton Wingate great-grandchildren, Christopher and Hailey McCollum, Ty and Taylor Carter. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 6, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland South Chapel, with Rev. Bruce Yates officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Highland South Memorial Park.
