She was retired after 40 years from Robert Shaw in Knoxville and a member of First Baptist Church in Seymour. She was preceded in death by her parents N.R. and Ida Maples ; and brothers, Marshall ( Tip ) Maples and Paul (Tom) Maples . She is survived by her loving family, husband, Andrew H. McCollum; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Ricky Wingate; son, Dennis McCollum all of Seymour; grandchildren, Tres Carter and wife Dayna, Eric Perkins, Amanda McCollum, Robin Wingate and Keaton Wingate; great grandchildren, Ty Carter, Hailey and Christopher McCollum; brothers, J.P. Maples , J. Clifford Maples , Clyde Maples , Albert Maples ; sisters,Lillie Campbell, Ruth Pierce and Alice Julian. Mrs. McCollum is at Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Highway where funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Bruce Yates and Rev. Harold O'Bannon officiating.
