Barry K. Banks, age 44, of Dandridge, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Select Specialties Hospital, Knoxville. He was a former EMT, Volunteer fireman and self-employed mechanic. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Tilman Banks. He is survived by his daughter, Tessa Banks of Dandridge; father, Paul Banks of Dandridge; mother, Barbara Ann Banks of Dandridge; stepchildren, Dustin Maze of Dandridge; and Ashley Finchum of New Market; brothers, Dewey Banks of Jefferson City; and William Banks of Dandridge; sisters, Sheila Hayes of Humboldt, Tennessee; fiancé, Amy Miller of Sevierville; grandmothers Ruth Banks and Elsie Campbell both of Dandridge. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2011 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Norris officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in Hills Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday prior to funeral service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Manes Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
