McCROSKEY, PATRICIA A. PERRY, age 55, passed away Tuesday, May l8, 2004 at home. She was a member of Chilhowee Hill Baptist Church. Graduate of Central High School in 1967 and Nathaniel Hawthorne College. Employed by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. Formerly employed by Marrimack County Penal Institution in New Hampshire and also served as U.S. Deputy Marshal. Veteran of the United States Marines. Preceded in death by parents, Glenn & Irene Perry; grandparents, Tom & Veda Perry and Albert & Grace Burnette.

Survived by husband, David McCroskey; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Karen Collins; stepchildren, David McCroskey,Jr. and wife, Chrystal, Brittany Atkins and husband, Ronald, Sasha McCroskey; grandchildren, Austin and Alyssa; brother, Bart Perry; niece, April Perry and family; nephew, Michael Perry and family; mother-in-law, Carolyn Murrell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Thomas and Amy Collins; aunts, Barbara Barnes and husband, Bob and Nadine Owens; several cousins and 3 great-nephews.
Service
Funeral service 8:00 P.M. Friday at Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Chaplain Gale Lyon and Rev. Charles McNutt officiating. Pallbearers: Josh Bales, Jim Griffin, Carl Barnes, David Barnes, Tim Barnes, Robert McNutt and Frank Owens. Honorary pallbearers: Co-workers of the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. Honor Guard service by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home to go in procession to Asbury Cemetery for a 3:00 P.M. interment service. The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 P.M. Friday before the service at the Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 2300 W. Adair Dr. www.lynnhurstchapel.com
