Nora “Love” Lane Reece, 81, of Dandridge, passed away Saturday evening, March 4, at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Noah and Delia Lane and was preceded in death by her husband, James Reece; grandson, Chris Reece; and brothers, Herbert, Holland and Alvin Lane.
Love was a member of the Swanns Chapel Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Tom Jenkins of Dandridge; son and daughter-in-law, R.J. and Norma Reece of Lenoir City; grandchildren, Denyse England of Las Vegas, Nevada, Randy Evans of Choteville, Sharon Moore and Jason Jenkins, both of Dandridge, and James “Greg” Reece of Knoxville; Ţve great-grandchildren; and sister, Kathleen Samples of Jefferson City.
In lieu of ţowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o Susan Howell, 2356 Ravenridge Trail, Jefferson City, TN 37760.
Funeral services were 7 p.m. Monday at Farrar’s Dandridge chapel with Rev. Bobby Kitts and Rev. John Price officiating. Interment graveside services were 11 a.m. Tuesday at Swanns Chapel Cemetery.
The family received friends Monday evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home in Dandridge.
