Barbara Lynn Powers Davis, age 69 of Maryville, passed away Saturday November 24, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was born in Friendsville, TN on December 31, 1942. She was an avid cook. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to play bingo and go to casinos. She is preceded in death by her husband, George W. (Bill) Davis; father, Bruner Powers; brothers, John (Sonny) Powers, Jack Powers, Tommy Powers, and Mark Powers; sister, Wilma Jean. She is survived by daughters, Diana Rogers, Debbie Breeden and fiancée Bruce Lowery; grandchildren, John Dyer Jr. and fiancée Keyla Beeler, Lynnsey Breeden, Christopher and Courtney Davis of Ringgold, GA; great grandchildren, Abby Dyer and Dakota Raines; mother, Thelma Powers Boring and husband Paul; sister, Patricia Murr; sisters in law, Barbara Helton and husband Jack, Oletta Tilley and husband Dennis; brother in law, Odie and wife Margie Davis; special granddaughter, Rachel Medlin.
