Gladys Davis, age 82, of Louisville, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 24, 2004, at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin Davis; daughter, Carrie Ferguson; parents Huse and Blanche Whitehead. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jack Helton; Oletta and Dennis Tilley, all of Maryville; sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Barbara Davis of Friendsville; Odis and Margie Davis of Walland; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sam and Curt Compton; Elvira Wilson; Selva and Virgil Dunlap of Walland; brother and sister-in-law, Doyle and Mabel Whitehead of Florida. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., April 27, 2004, in the Trinity Chapel with Rev. Gene Gann officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
