QUEENER, ANN DENNY - of Fountain City, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 25, 2001 at Halls Residential Hospice. She was preceded in death by husband, Dan Queener; parents, Thomas T. and Sue E. Denny of LaFollette; infant sister, Virginia Denny ; sisters, Mary Underwood and Essie Ridenour; brothers, John Denny , Glen Denny . Maurice Denny and Victor Denny . She was an active member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City for many years and taught The Rachel Bond Sunday school class. She also did volunteer work for The Family Life Center and Emergency Assistance Program. She was retired from First Tennessee Bank. Survivors: sister, Ruth Mullins and her husband, Quinton, of Knoxville; brother, Jeff Denny of Asheville NC; sisters-in-law, Opal Denny of Battle Creek Michigan and Dorothy Denny of Powell, TN; special nephew and niece, Edward Ridenour and wife, Bernice and family of Knoxville; several other nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, at Gentry Griffey Chapel, Dr. Marvin Cameron, Rev. Ron Mouser and Rev. Ed Jenkins officiating. Friends will meet 11:45 a.m. Monday at Lynnhurst Cemetery for graveside services at 12:00 noon. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church Of Fountain City, 5610, North Broadway, 37918. The family will receive friends 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Gentry Griffey Chapel.
