HAGAMAN, REV. C. D., JR. - 83, of Athens, died Monday night, January 10, 2011, at his residence. He was a native of Knox County and was a son of the late C.D., Sr. and Ruth McCammon Hagaman, and was also preceded in death by a brother Gene Hagaman. He was a member of the Holston Conference of the United Methodist Church and attended Trinity United Methodist Church. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a graduate of Young High School, Cooper Institute of Business, Tennessee Wesleyan College and Candler School of Theology at Emory University. He was a retired United Methodist Minister serving several churches in the Holston Conference. After retirement he served as Chaplain at Tennessee Wesleyan College for several years. He is survived by his wife, June Elder Hagaman of Athens; one daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Jeff Wilkins of Athens; two sons and one daughter-in-law, John Hagaman and Jerry Hagaman and Julie Jack all of Athens; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Vira Lou and Bill Dalton, and Clara Hagaman, and one sister-in-law, Delores Hagaman all of Knoxville. A memorial service will be conducted 1:30 P.M., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church with the Rev. R. Steven Brown, Dr. Donald Morris and Dr. Sam Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service. The family suggests memorials be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 E. College Street, Athens, TN 37303 or Tennessee Wesleyan College, P.O.
