GREGORY, MAXINE (WINNIE) passed away, March 12, 2007 at St. Mary's Residential Hospice. Winnie was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church of Maryville for 63 years. She was employed at Lambert Acres Golf Course for 25 years. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Ollie and Belva Gregory, brothers, Bruce of Maryville, and John of New Jersey. Winnie is survived by: sisters, Celeste Turbyfill of Pulaski, TN, Gerri Hurst, Jewel Davis and husband Bud, Dianne Rasar and husband Herbert, all of Maryville; special friends, Ina Clapp and the family of Lynn and Leon Berrong; several nieces and nephews and the rest of the Clapp family. Family and friends will meet, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Mynatt Funeral Home Fountain City and proceed to Grandview Cemetery, Maryville, for a graveside service at 11:30 a.m., Rev. Todd Clapp, Rev. Richie Beeler and Rev. Mark Kitts officiating. Pallbearers will be: Chad Berrong, Nick Berrong, Gary Butler, Greg Rasar, Mike Rasar, David Hurst, Junior Davis and Sid Lester. Honorary pallbearers will be: Donald Owens, Leon Berrong, David "Red" Clapp, Ronnie Merritt, Louie Turbyfill, Kenny Sunderland and employees of Lambert Acres Golf Course. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Mary's Residential Hospice, 4774 Andersonville Pike Knoxville, TN 37938. The Gregory family will be at the home of Gerri Hurst.
