Clella Mae Davis Sauls, age 83 of Maryville died Thursday, February 5, 2004 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a resident of Asbury Acres and a member of Ellejoy Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: parents, Dr. C.A. and Belle Davis; husband, Robert (Bob) Sauls; grandson, Scott Sauls; grand-daughter, Amy Payge. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Ernest and Pat Sauls of Auburn, GA and Jim and Thelma Sauls of Maryville; son, Bill Sauls of Flowery Branch, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Esther and Earl Foxx of Seymour; grandchildren, Judy and Dana Howard, Robbie and Rick Trentham, Jeff and Terri Foxx, Renee and Bobby Nix, Jerry and Sherry Sauls, Ricky Sauls and children, Garrett Sauls, Jessie Sauls, Marcia Sams, Michael Sauls; great-grandchildren, Stephanie and Travis Davis, Dustin, Dillion, Daniel Foxx, Thomas Ridings, Joseph Lee Sauls, Ashley and McKayla Truesdell, Ashley Sams; brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Francis Sauls of Maryville; special cousin, Ora Davis of Westville, IL; special nurses and doctors at Blount Memorial Hospital and Asbury Acres Health Care Center. Funeral service will be at 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2004 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Jim Lawhorn and Rev. Ron Blaydes officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, February 8, 2004 at Ellejoy Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Foxx, Dana Howard, Rick Trentham, Jerry Sauls, Michael Sauls, Bobby Nix. Honorary pallbearer will be Garrett Sauls. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, 2004, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.smithmortuary.com.
