KITTS, DORA L. - age 72, of Knoxville, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2000, at Baptist Hospital. Born in Knoxville, Mrs. Kitts had lived all her life in the Knoxville area, and was retired from Krystal after many years of service. She was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lela Pratt and her husband, Delbert Kitts. She is survived by her loving family, daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and George Harrell, Linda and Raymond Overbay; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Margie Kitts, George and Donna Kitts, Ricky and Teresa Kitts and Harold Kitts; sisters, Betty Duncan and Ietta Hensley; brother, Cecil Pratt; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Dustin and Hanna Troutt, Jessica Solomon, Christopher A. Dyer, and a very special friend, Jean Fieldon. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Monday, December 18, at Highland South Funeral Home, Chapman Hwy., with services following at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, Pastor Hollie Miller and Rev. Lee Wayne Grubbs will be officiating. Interment will follow in Highland South Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kenneth Kitts, George Kitts, Ricky Kitts, Harold Kitts, James Dotson and Michael Solomon. Arrangements by Highland South Funeral Home, 573-7300.
