Berrier, Ander Grant – age 66 of Knoxville passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Ft. Sander’s Regional Hospital. He was a member and Trustee at Burnett Creek Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Theodore and Sarah Berrier; brothers, J.B., Ed, and Harold Berrier. Survived by wife, Peggy Ann Berrier; daughters, Lesia Poovey and husband Dennis, Sandy Berrier, Tracey Riley and husband Scott, and Jackie Berrier; step-son; David Jett and wife Stacy; step-daughter Mary Anne Johnson and husband Tom; brothers, Glenn Berrier; sisters, Jessie Bohanan, Thelma Chandler, and Dorothy Dunlap; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 6:00 PM Saturday, January 9, 2010, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Miller and Rev. Donnie Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:45 PM Sunday at Seven Islands Cemetery for a 2:00 PM interment. Pallbearers: Dennis Poovey, Scott Riley, Chad Jackson, James Green, Dewey Berrier, and Brad Gibson. The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 PM Saturday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 865-523-4999.
