Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home Branch, Pauline Thomas (Granny) age 84 of Knoxville, was born December 15, 1924 and passed away Saturday, December 5, 2009. She was a member of Loveland Baptist Church and the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Preceded in death by husband, Melvin Branch; parents, Otha and Annie Thomas. Survivors: sons and daughters in law, Jim and Alice Thomas, Merle and Odie Branch, Kenneth and Joyce Branch; she was blessed with several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Maude Smith, Edith Hancock and Margaret Bennett; brother, Frank Thomas. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday in the chapel of Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Oliver Wolfenbarger officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 A.M. Wednesday at Asbury Cemetery for the interment at 11:00 A.M. Special thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s Residential Hospice for their care and support.
