REYNOLDS, RUBY LEE (RICHESIN) - of Philadelphia, passed away on December 27, 2009 at her home from an extended illness, at the age of 80. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Loudon County, October 13, 1929 to the late James Arthur and Etta Richesin. She attended Tennessee Wesleyan College and had a long and distinguished career with the United States State Department. She met and married her husband, Oscar Ashley Reynolds, October 14, 1956 in the Philippines. Together they served with the State Department until their retirement in 1983. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Oscar A. Reynolds, her son Jeffery A. Reynolds and wife Linda, two grandsons, Daniel Matthews, and wife LeeAnn, and David Matthews, a great- grand-daughter, Madison Matthews, all of Knoxville. She is also survived by her sisters Frances Norwood of Gatlinburg, Cathryn Nook and husband, Jim of Arizona, Carol Richesin of Lenoir City, and her brother Daris Richesin and wife Mary, of Philadelphia, sister and brother-in-law Janie and Johnnie Dameron of Austin, Texas as well as several nieces and nephews of Tennessee and Texas. The body is at Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, where the family will receive friends on Tuesday December 29, 2009, from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. with the funeral service to follow at 7:00P.M. in Kyker's Chapel with Rev. John Rhoades officiating. Interment 11:00A.M. Wednesday in the Sweetwater Memorial Park. www.kykerfuneralhome.com
