BORN: May 11, 1921 DIED: July 6, 2008 LOCATION: Knoxville, TN Bell, James K. @ age 87 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008 at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. James was a former member of Euclid Avenue Baptist Church and was active at Marble City Baptist Church. He was a member of Sheetmetal Workers Local #5. He retired after 40 years of service at Y-12. Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Richie Bell; 5 brothers, Charles, Jack, Clarence, Harry and Harold. Survived by loving wife of 63 years, Sue Ellison Bell; daughter, Brenda Bell; son, James E. (Jim) and wife Geri; granddaughters, Krista Lee and husband Bryan, Kelley Darnell and husband Benjy; great-grandchild James Wylder Lee. James was an avid golfer; a man that never met a stranger, and was kind to all. The family will receive friends at Highland Memorial in Bearden from 12:00 @ 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9. The funeral service will follow with burial following in Highland Memorial Cemetery.
