SHADDAY, MERTON A. - age 76, of West Knoxville, passed away Tuesday evening, August 7, 2001, at Park West Hospital. Merton was an elder in the Presbyterian Church. He was a Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite Bodies in Knoxville. Merton was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the Army. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Connie Woods. Survivors: wife, Agnes Lane Howard Shadday; son, Larry Shadday of Cassville, Mo.; Agnes' sons, Gary, Larry and David Howard, all of Michigan; six grandchildren; brother, Carl Shadday and niece, Debbie Shadday, both of Cassville, Mo. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 11, at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with Rev. Sam Oakes officiating. Full Military Honors will be conferred by the East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries, P.O.
