(July 2, 1943 - August 28, 2015) Glenda Marie Williamson, age 72, of Newport, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Morristown Hamblen Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, James (Peanut) Carrell; mother, Agnes Aileen Ailey; and brother, James Robert Carrell. She is survived by her husband, Donald Williamson of Newport; sons, John Tracy Williamson of Newport, James Clyde (Cindy) Williamson of Knoxville, Curtis (Tina) Williamson of Cosby, and Charlie (Mary) Williamson of Knoxville; brothers, Eddie (Tammy) Carrell of Newport and Clifford Lee Bryant, Jr. of North Carolina; and nine grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lynda Smith officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday prior to funeral services.
