Weaver, age 82 of Maynardville, went home to be with Jesus, January 22, 2009. He was a faithful member of new Friendship Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by wife of 42 years, Gladys and six sisters. Survived by wife, Ora Mae, son, Steve and daughters, Cathy (David) Johnson and Vassie Monroe. Pappaw leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as long time friends, Roger and Norma Stiner. The family wishes to extend special thanks to the staff of Sunbridge Health Care for their love and support. Service, 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Mynatt Funeral Home Chapel Fountain City, Pastor Doug Muncey and Rev. Charlie Tindell officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
