JUANITA MARSHALL HODGE HANKINS, of Jefferson City, TN passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Nettie Marshall; sister, Lottie Deniston; husbands, Ray Hodge and Charles (Pete) Hankins. She is survived by Pete's children, Norma Dunipace, Louise Davidson, Carol Done and Bobbie Fleenor; Pete's grandchildren; great-grandchildren and Ray's nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Helen Whitehead, Nettie Holt, Bertha Walker and Billie Springer; several nieces and nephews. She was a member of Cedar Hill Church of God. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 from the Farrar Jefferson City Chapel with Rev. Bryant Collins and Rev. Robert Holmes officiating. Interment will follow the service in Jefferson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, Juanita requested memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, c/o mary Ellen Darby, 1321 Laurel Hills Circle, Jefferson City, Tn 37760, of to St. Mary's Home Health and Hospice, 7447 Andersonville Pike, Knoxville, TN 37938. A special thanks to Alive Hospice and her many dear firends, especially Edith Allen and Dona Newman who have been so faithful during her long illness.
