Mae Ellen Evans, age 75 of Del Rio went to be with her Lord Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at her residence.
She was a homemaker by trade and a member of Round Mountain Church of God.
Mrs. Evans is preceded in death by her husband, Claude C. Evans; parents, Roby Taft and Ollie Bible Yates; one son, Randy Evans and one sister, Bernice Stokely.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Evans Ellison of Del Rio; two sisters, Edith Stokely and Janice Yates of Del Rio; brothers, Edmond and wife Ella Mae Yates, Sherrill and wife Mickey Yates, Olen and wife Mary Yates, Eugene and wife Tennielue Yates and Jerry Yates all of Del Rio.
She will also be sadly missed by her grandchild, Calvin Seth Rathbone; several nieces and nephews and numerous special friends.
The family will receive friends Friday July 28, 2006 from 6-8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be Saturday July 29, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Marshall officiating. Interment will follow at Clark Cemetery, Deep Gap.
Brown Funeral Home has been honored to provide the final arrangements for Mrs. Mae Ellen Evans.
