Obituary: Emma Bible, age 81, of Parrottsville passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Takoma Hospital. She was a member of the French Broad Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband James L. Bible and parents Pinkney and Letha McMillian Balch. She is survived by daughters Sheila Waddell of Greeneville, Pat Gilbert (Mike) of Del Rio. Sons Billy Bible of Parrotsville, Eddie Bible (Angela) of Parrotsville. Grandchildren Billy Waddell of Greeneville, Lori Wadell of Greeneville, Michael Gilbert of Martin, Justin Gilbert of Del Rio, Brandon Bible of Parrotsville, Leslie Bible of Oak Ridge. Great grandchildren include Isabella, Jacob Waddell, J.M. Gilbert, Lilly Gilbert and Eli Gilbert. There are many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Thursday, at Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Jennings and Minister Michael Gilbert and Reverend Eric Hurst officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM prior to the service. A graveside service will be Friday at 11:00 AM in the Clark Deep Gap Cemetery. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Bible family.
