She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude W. and Grace Thomas Chastain and sister, Dib Newman. She is survived by her brothers and sisters in law, Caleb and Marge Chastain of Indiana, Jack and Loretta Chastain of Maryville, Don and Yvonne Chastain of Sweetwater, Claude Jr. and Mary Chastain of Maryville, and Joe Chastain of Maryville; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service 8:00 PM Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Dr. Jerry Russell officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:30 PM Sunday at Grandview Cemetery for the graveside and interment service.
