She was a member of Chilhowee Hills Baptist church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a special mother, loving grandmother, and great-grandmother and her hobbies included crocheting and knitting. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Joe Edward Brewer ; parents, Lee Thompson and Ozella Smith Thompson Sharp; two sisters and one brother. Survivors: loving husband of 70 years, Holbert "Huck Pappy" Brewer of Knoxville; daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Johnny Branch of Knoxville, Pat and Jerry Snyder of Strawberry Plains; sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Judy Brewer of Knoxville, Lynn and Pat Brewer of Morristown; and son, Wayne Brewer of Knoxville; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; special niece and husband, Bobbie and Joe Johnson of Knoxville; several other nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice. The family and friends will meet 2:45 p.m. Monday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for a graveside service and interment at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Sean White, David Oxindine, and Rev.
