MILLER, RUTH - age 80 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at her residence. She was a 47 year member of West Haven Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and coached girl's softball. She was a member of the Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Bertha Nance; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Nance, Hubert and Ruth Nance, and Roy and Ruth Nance; sister, Lena Vance; and grandson, Mark Miller. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wayborn Miller; son, Ray Miller; brother, Charles Nance and his wife Barbara; grandson Jeff Miller and his wife Gayla; great- granddaughters, Jessica Miller and Holly Miller; great-great-grandson, Cameron; granddaughter-in-law, Brandy Miller; nieces and nephews, Monique Nance, Jason Nance, Barry Nance, Terri Nance, Wanda and her husband Al Lonas; great-nephews, Bruce and Mike Lonas; special family care givers, nephew David and his wife Billie, and their children Lindsey and Luke. The family would like to say a special thank you to U.T. Medical Center Hospice Services and to nurse Darla Catinella. Services and burial will be private.
