FRENCH, CHARLES NORMAN - age 61, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 11, 2000. His greatest achievement was being a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He served as a trustee and faithful member of First Freewill Baptist Church. He was a longtime employee of Service Transport. Preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Gladys French; and brother, Randy French. Survived by wife, Aileen; daughters and son-in-law, Lisa Williams, Angie and Jim Shepherd, and Stephanie and Kris Cardwell; granddaughters, Kristi Williams and Madison Cardwell; grandsons, Brandon Williams, Adam Shepherd, and Weston Shepherd; special great-grandson, Brent Williams; mother-in-law, Laura Sliger ; and special aunt, OlaPerry. Funeral service 10 a.m. Friday Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Rev. Dale Walker & Rev. Glenn Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow at Asbury Cemetery. Pallbearers: Greg Williams, David Evans, Bo Norman , Charles Mays, John Dunnock, and Dwight Evans. Honorary pallbearers: drivers and friends at Service Transport. Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
