(October 3, 1941 - March 2, 2012) Bernard Lacy Robeson, age 70, of Newport, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Charlsie Robeson. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Sharron Robeson of Murfreesboro; nieces, Amber Robeson, of Murfreesboro and Cara Robeson of Nashville; aunts, Elizabeth Blazer and Alice Rader; several cousins; best friends Lynn Askew, Preston Cureton; many other special friends and his faithful companion "Rusty". Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Monday March 5, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Chris Stanfield officiating. Burial will be held 10:00 am, Tuesday, March, 6, 2012 in Harneds Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Monday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
