BROWNING, CLARENCE - 77, of Middlesboro, KY, passed away Thursday December 24, 2009, at the University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, TN. He was born June 1, 1932 in Bell County, KY, the son of the late Rev. Charlie and Parasita Partin Browning. He was a member of the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. He was retired from the Union Carbide Y-12 plant at Oak Ridge, TN. He is survived by the following members of his family: 2 daughters: Sharon (Lynn) Jenkins, Clinton, TN, Donna (Donny) Whitaker, Clinton, TN; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandson; 2 brothers; 4 sisters. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wayland Mason and Rev. Johnny Partin presiding. The family will meet at 12:00 p.m. Monday at the Red Hill Cemetery at Speedwell, TN for Graveside services. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, at the Creech Funeral Home. Creech Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
